On the trail that was the old rail line through
the Middlesex Fells Reservation. The wind
rose and blew a bunch of snow from the trees
just as I was tripping the shutter.

What's Happening Here
I shoot a lot of the same subject with different cameras.This blog has pretty much become a place to post these alternative versions of images that I have already posted on Flickr. Not that they're any better or worse than the Flickr images...they're just different.

There's lots to like about this - it feels old, melancholic, cold and dreamlike. It is also mysterious and beautiful. I also like the pictures selected for the exhibition, above, particularly the horse, an unusual shot the like of which I've not seen before.
